My mare is away at stud and slimming down nicely on a paddock so for once I'm not worried about her. Sister's ageing TB is rounding out nicely...

BUT her 3YO came in very footy last night and underneath the windgalls she's sprung from belting around on the hard ground BEFORE the downpours, she has pulses in all 4 feet dammit...

She was doing fine but I suspect all the rain then a day of sunshine yesterday has sent the fructans sky high...

She's in on shavings and old hay now, she's not got full blown lammi but is footy on rough ground so its better safe than sorry and she can go out on restricted grazing in a few days, see how she goes.

Just a warning if anyone else has not been paying full attention...
