Keep rug or sell it on???

Got Samba a cheap rug on Ebay but for some reason it fits really strange. Its branded as Ultima Classic?????????
I wonder if I need to loosen the front and pull it back a bit??

Surely I cant be being a total numpty?? Serves me right for buying a cheap rug lol.

Do you have a rug washer/repairer localy? Maybe they could do some alterations for you on the front and also shorten the neck a tad. If that will bump up the cost of the rug too much then sell it on or if you got it from an ebay shop could you return it? No point keeping if your not happy with it.
 
Looks about 67 sizes too big! What does the label say is the size? The shoulder dart should be just above the horse's elbow but on your ned it's almost under his neck! If you pulled the rug back so the shoulder dart was in the right place, I reckon the bum flap would be hanging off his bum by a good 9 inches! Sell it on!
 
Its a 5ft 9" which is what the label said. Its from a auction on Ebay for £20. At the end of the day there is nothing wrong with how it was advertised and it was the only one advertised so I dont think its a dodgy scam just unfortunate.

Gonna try it on toffee tomorrow as she has a lot more up front. Just means Samba will have her pink one this winter :(

I did this with a rhinegold rug!! Bought a 6'3 it fit like a 6'6 plus! but fit like a mini skirt around her sides!!! And she's a tb cross so hell know's what horse they fit!!!

As said see if you can do any alterations, or leave as a spare if your main rug gets too wet this winter or something. If your after a cheap rug/bargain, people on this forum seem to be rating the Axiom rugs on ebay!
 
Funny thing is it took me 30 min to get it on her. Ive only had her for 2months and although I have tried a rug on before today it was scary, shes 8!!!

So put lightweight on eventually to convince her that it wasnt scary. Then put this one on top of that to try it lol

BLOODY WELSH is all I say!

What's the "BLOODY WELSH" about then? If you've had a dodgy buy and the seller was Welsh, that doesn't mean everyone Welsh needs to be slated. Try your sentence with a few different nationalities instead of Welsh and see how it sounds. Think before you post hun.
