i have a 3 yr olf filly, mini spotted. up until approx feb this year she was kept with one of my big girls and was happy but kept in line re her manners. since my 2 big girls have had seperate injuries, one a tendon the other her stifle they have been on restricted seperate turnout to keep them calm so obviously my mini has been seperated although next to them. she comes in at night as they all do and to be fair has not had much done with her due to my big ones needing so much in terms of moving fencing daily and rehab walk then ridden exercise. she is currently pushing her luck esp leading in and out and im sure is thoroughly bored. i let her have a mutual groom with her friends and am going to take her for little walks and do a bit of pole work as she cant have company for a while yet.another horse, pony is not an option. any other ideas.is she too young to teach to lunge a bit?

I have no idea as to when mini's mature. I wouldn't have any problems with some light lunging and get her long reining. An Aunt of mine used to breed Falabella's and all of her horses used to work, in that they would jump, pull a little cart, long rein etc etc. They seemed like happy little chaps. I am assuming as well that a Falabella and a mini are the same thing? Have you seen mini donkeys? Now they are so sweet!

You could be walking her out in hand to get her used to the bigger world. Why not get a roller on her & start to long rein as well? She'll be so pooped with the mental effort & it'll do her leaing good.
