Keeping cool with my body protector on?

I had a riding lesson yesterday and although it was 5.30 til 6.30 and just flatwork,I boiled! Sure I was sweatier than the horse !
I have an airowear level 3 so not exactly the lightest but its new and not masively costly.I always wear it when riding so taking it off isnt really an option.

I have the same body protector as you, I wear it everytime I ride, but I'm not decent for company after! I have found wearing a tech top under makes a suprisingly big difference. I just wear my running tops, can't be doing shelling out for horsey ones too!

I wear running tops too, the breathable material ones and they make a lot of difference
(My BP is an airowear level 3 too)

Helly Hanson or Under Armour - search 'base layer' on ebay. The ones with the zip at the front can be uncomfortable though. They are cool in summer and when exercising and great at keeping you warm in the winter
