Keeping greys clean

Having sworn I'd never have a grey because yhey show all the dirt, one is arriving at the end of the month because he suits my son. So now I need to know the tricks for keeping them clean(ish)

Couldn't tell you as my grey is the cleanest horse ever born. Never muddy (although she lives out).

I'm told this one has a talent for finding the only muddy spot in a field for a good roll. If no mud will roll in poo. I must be mad, but he has kind eyes so I forgive him.

Mine lies delicately on her hay to avoid getting dirty if the ground is damp....

Clipping mine out completely then rugging it from nose to tail was the only successful method for me

Get a snuggys turn out hood for winter, then he will only have a dirty nose & dirty panda eyes where the eye holes are. Apparently you can get turnout tailbags, & if they work, I might be tempted to get one. The joys of tail washing in winter...
