Ok. So me and my OH are considering upping and leaving to the IOM as to be honest we need to save some moneys. We both work full time on fairly OK wages but what with tax, council tax(almost £200!!!!!!), rent, bills, car, food shopping we seem to have nothing left at the end of the month and we need to save money if we are ever to get a place of our own.
I can go to the IOM have somewhere to live (with nan she has a masionette to herself!!) and I can get a job there. I would be living in Ramsey
However weighing up the options of do we quit horses or not for now I am young (22) and can always get back into it. I could sell the two I have(with many many tears), and my older mare has always had a place at a friends house should she need it.
Can anyone answer any of these questions for me:
Whats the rough price of grazing land to rent??
Whats the rough price of DIY livery??
Whats the rough price of hay/straw at the moment??
What are the rough prices for trims from a farrier and shoes??
