Keeping in contact with new owners? Yay or Nay?!

See although i've liked the updates - i've never text asking for them, just waited for her to text me. I also haven't been to see him although she has offered and said i'm welcome before he goes. I know he's not been worked since October though and think it would upset me more to see him having lost his condition too. I think past owners should take a back seat as i'd hate for old owners to harrass us all the time.
I've updated past owners though and they're always pleased to know they're getting on ok.
