Her owner, G, let her out this morning for a wander (she has been on total box rest for 2 weeks after her relapse) - apparently she took two very pottery steps, stopped and just went! Marched off in the direction of the fields. G grabbed a leadrope went after her, clipped her on and apparently she just went vertical, boxing out at her!;):D
After that, G said she was walking at normal pace and Kelly was right beside her, throwing her head and creating at the babies playing in the next field. She said it brought tears to her eyes and she's really feeling positive now.
I'm home on Thurs from uni and just CAN'T WAIT to see her!!!!!! :D
I'm not going to have my hopes TOO high...we'll just take it very slowly now and see what happens and how she goes.

Awh im glad to hear shes feeling fab :D
Dont get too disheartened by the cushings i used to help look after a 39 year old pony with severe cushings and he still ran rings round everyone! :p

Thanks montyforever :)
yeah we have an oldie on the yard who a few months ago took it upon himself to turn himself out in the WH field and jump the fences!
:) this is the first time in maybe 14/15 months we have seen her so forwards and active!
xx

Sooo glad shes feeling better but do take it slowly. I have just had a set back! Mine started going out for 20 mins (the first day she spent that time pretending to be a grand prix dressage horse or a racehorse - so not much wrong with your feet then!). We built it up slowly to an hour but then tuesday morning she had pulses in 2 feet again and so now shes back on box rest. Argghhhhhh its so easy to be lulled into a false sense of security.
Hopefully yours will continue to make progress and fingers crossed for no set backs.
Sorry if this is a bit of a downer message!

Oh God we're all too well aware of setbacks! We've had 2 major setbacks in the last sort of 6 months - for now she will be allowed a wander every other day and box rest every other day and we will see how she goes with that.
She's just had her feet redone too so we think that has made a difference.
I hope yours gets better soon! They do cause us worry!

Sounds an excellent plan. Wondering if there will ever be a time when I dont worry, check, be paranoid etc !!!!

Haha tell me about it - we find ourselves noticing things and going checking the other horses to see if they're the same!! (mostly they are its just us being paranoid!!!) :p
