Keep your right leg on and keep straight. Don't fuss about it - if you fuss, so will your horse and chances are that he won't mind the fence at all!

Presumably he is more likely to run out to the right, than to stop dead?

Ignore the fact its blue, and is a corner, and approach it as if it were any other skinny... contain his canter, so he can't run out, and you will be fine!!

personally i would want my stick in the right hand but ride more to the left. your horse could clear that corner even at the far side.

Its not big enough for you to have to worry about angles. If it was me, just as another poster said ride it like another skinny. Whip in your right hand and pick something in the distance to get your line right (that white fence post in the distance looks very well placed to me) and focus on that as soon as you turn to the fence. GL!

As the fence stands I would aim for that white post in the background.
Meet the fence straight on pref have your horse coming in on left lead canter, ride it as if its a narrow box fence, holding the left rein a little to guide.
Just sit up, dont panic and keep riding strongly, but not fast.

Yes, def agree with BBs, come in left lead canter and ride positively, you will wonder what you were worried about!!

Jump it bang in the middle like BBs has said, think of it like an oxer in the SJ its nothing more than that just jump the middle.

Having sat in sight of this fence all day I'd say more than half the intro class ran out at least once at this corner. It caught an unbelievable number of people out.
