Keltic - how you doing?

I was wondering that too. Swine flu is still spreading like anything across Derbyshire, I'm becoming a bit anti-social in my efforts to avoid it.

Im getting there!! been confined to home for 10 days, but now slowly getting better, the flu thing was not good but bareable... it left me with a nasty viral chest inf which im struggling to shift!!
But i had the call every horse owner dreads inj horse.. arghh so thankfully ive got great mates who sorted it till i could get to yard and they have been picking me up and taking me to yard and mucking out etc etc they have done everything to be honest, while i cough then see stars then need to sit down!! even the vet told me to go back to bed!! as im not quite upto it yet!! but fingers crossed all will be well......
Hows things with you? hope am is ok??

Hopefully she will be, fingers crossed anyway, she is a funny old bird but tough as old boots! Im hoping for an improvement overnight and its really just a case of time i think. I have been very down about it today as i supose im not 100% myself and feel

Pants eh?? (my fav word at the mo!)

They just like to worry us, I'm sure she'll come right before long.

Thinking of more positive things, are you doing the Ockbrook sponsored ride in September?

Sure Kel will be fine, lots of extra cuddles and polo's all round for braving vets and swine flu in the same day! Sure it will all seem much better tomorrow x

Yes i was hoping too!! I might just do the slightly shorter one though not sure yet... depends how Katie is going she has not been ridden as i was on holiday then been poorly etc but ive got time to get going again.... she looks like she has eaten a shetland pony or 2!!

are you doing it?

Yes, hoping to but you never know do you?! I signed up last year and then it got cancelled because of all the rain.

D is super fit at the moment and will probably snort all the way round screaming "let me at it" and then change her mind at the last minute deciding the jump is actually scary and horse eating and she'd much rather cat leap from a standing start.

Jumps?! No one mentioned those (Keltic !!) its lucky the big bottomed one is looking like foaling they would have had to bring a crane onsite to lift her over if our last attempt was anything like what could be expected. Full out charge towards jump stop then catleaped on top of it!
