Hi there,
My new dog has just been diagnosed with kennel cough (she has been in kennels last week, as I got her from a rescue centre), and as she is not allowed out for walks I wondered if anyone had any tips on how to keep her entertained and healthy. I have a garden (about 60ft) but she is not the sort of dog who will chase a ball or toy for ages. The vet said not to take her out for walks for 3 days after she stops coughing, so I am thinking it could be at least 4-5 days without walks and don't want her getting stressed. She isn't a young dog with boundless energy (she is a 9yr JRT) but she enjoys her walks. I am cutting her feed back a little bit to compensate the lack of exercise.
Any tips or advice is much appreciated
