Kennel Question

No qualifications as such......obviousley vast experience of both dogs/cats will help....and u need licences and there are fees ....and there are requirements/regulations re-the kennels themselves in regard to size, construction, materials e,t,c....inspections will need to be carried out to check that regulations have been followed.
Im sure u will have looked into all of this.

Most boarding kennels look into courses for their staff to undertake qualifications in regard to animal care.

I do home boarding so it isnt so strict......I still needed inspection/insurance and licence.
I do have both experience and qualifications if I can help u with any info PM me.

Thank you for your reply - to be honest it was just a general question - my OH & I would love a change in our career's and we both love all animals, having 1 horse, 2 dogs, 1 cat & 2 rabbits. I worked for a vet when I left school and have always had animals.

Just seen a place for sale down south which is a registered kennels/cattery and also has a small equestrian yard, which would be perfect for us - I just wanted to know what was entailed. Cant see anything coming of it - but then again I can dream.
