I am 99% sure that this saddle is the leather version of the Thorowgood. I have a Thorowgood T4 cob saddle and it has been excellent, and I am sure that my saddler said that the Kent and Masters is the leather version.

One of my liveries has one, it's nothing like a thorowgood. It is a nice saddle for the money and has a similar changable gullet to the wintec.

Same manufacturer as Thorowgood which also has adjustable gullet. My master saddler stocks and recommends as a good economical leather saddle - has had lots of interest and only introduced at BETA this year

manufactured by thorowgood (their version of wintec/bates). Thorowgood also do the fairfax saddles

I haven't tried one - but as everyone else has said they are Thorowgood's 'middle of the range' leather saddle. I have the 'top' one which is the Fairfax, but my master saddler said there wasn't much between them except £200 and that the Fairfax had more padding on the seat (and after twelve years on a hard as stone Wintec, I wanted a comfy bum)

The fairfax saddle has prolite in the panels, thats why its more expensive. Any of them are good saddles though. Well worth the money

thankyou for all your replys will look into the fairfax and ive been looking for the leather Thorowgood as my very fussy saddler says she's looked a t it and says its very good but couldn't find it thats because its under a different name !!

Ive got one and I love it!!
Its made by Kent and Masters but designed by thorowgood, its based on the thorowgood cob saddle and adjustable, its also like sitting in an armchair and very comfy!! It fits my cob a treat!!

Sorry thats not true they are designed AND MADE by TG
I have one and love it too. I was in the Thorowgood factory the other day and they said they are selling faster than they can make them! They are taking on new staff to meet the demand

Ditto all this, but it is my friend that has one. Absolutely fab saddle, sooo comfy, I would highly recommend!

Lovely saddles all three ranges. All three makes also have prolite in the panels and seat, They are all Thorowgood saddles, and the Fairfax is slightly better quality with more refinements.
