Kent and Masters saddles...

...Do they have serial numbers?
I have been looking to buy one second hand, and the ones I have enquired about dont seem to have serial numbers.
If this is the case, how do you tell if they are genuine?

My (newish) one does. It's a GP with interchangeable gullet. Maybe ring K&M and enquire? The studs on the saddle above the Drings have a red and gold 'Kent and Masters' logo on

Ive just sold mine so no idea, i would imagine they would, they are made by thorowgood so maybe contact them/or K&M

Thanks for your replies, it did seem odd to me that the saddles I have seen have had the K&M stamps and badges etc (visible in pics), but no serial number

Just out of interest Dubsie, where abouts is the serial number on your saddle?

Think I might give K&M a call this afternoon and see what they say!

I had a look at my Kent & Masters Saddle last night, and i think ive found a serial number!

If you lift up the saddle flap and look at the panel underneath where all the girth straps are etc. at the top left hand corner towards the back you should find a number, mine is a four digit number and im assuming this is the serial number. Hope this helps

I phoned K&M, who said that there should be a serial number on all their saddles though apparently they keep changing where they actually put it, so it could be anywhere
