Do you know Standen Minuet, aka 'Minnie' or 'Lottie'? She's around 15.1hh, a dark bay mare with a star on her face and a small amount of white on her back feet with ermine marks. One of her front legs has a small lump of scar tissue. She's 17 years old.

We've had 'Lottie' for a year now and we bought her from the Ashford Horse Sales. I would love some information about her. Currenlty she's living in the field with our four others. Standen Minuet is a complete dream on the ground but does get a bit wound up when being ridden. She's been hacked out while she's been with us but sometimes just gets a brain overload and likes to canter on the spot. She's had everything checked and had physio on her shoulder so is no longer in pain.

We've been told that she was a great jumper.

What has she done before and what was she like?
Would love some info on this beautiful mare

Hi Emily
Are there no names in the passport you could perhaps write to?
There is only one horse registered with that name on NED On Line
Sorry a quick google did not show anything
Do you know who the seller was at Ashford--I imagine that should still be on the marts books?

This is stirring the cogs - I think from memory Standen was a prefix using by Mrs Pollard to breed connemaras and she was based somewhere like Kent. I can't get at any of my old Connemara Chronicle books at the moment to check but someone one here may know more - or tell me that my grey cells are letting me down badly.......

Found her on Connemara website - registered part bred connemara born 24 June 1992. The British Connemara Pony website has a tracing section - try posting on there to see if anyone knows her.

And she was bred by Mrs Pollard who was based in Benenden in Kent - her contact details are on the BCPS website.

Good luck with finding out more.

Well spotted, hope OP gets more history
Papers must have been lost as she only has ID type passport with Horse Passport Agency
BHS would not accept a pony for passporting with a registered name--they would expect you to try to trace your pony's breeding first and only passport under its stable name if breeding cannot be traced.
GRRRRRRRRRR passports
