KEP hats? Any good?

Getting a new hat for Christmas My local tack store sells: Charles Owen, KEP, Samshield, GPA, Champion, HS1 and John Whitaker. I really like KEP's and have heard bad things about GPA.

Anyone have one? Have felt the inside of my friends one and it seems lovely (haven't tried on as my head is HUGE), is it airy?

Any other brands I should try or any of the ones above? I know about PROtector hats but I'm not that keen on them. Would be for show jumping/day to day use.

I love my pro, it's so safe and good looking. I have a speed air only as I was working in hong kong and it is super cool but I really don't feel as secure in It

Yes love it but... Mr W's peak has started to peel! It's been returned so awaiting for contact! Let's see how good their customer service is!

I like the KEP hats - don't have one but they are so lightweight!

I have the Charles Owen Wellington classic I love it because it's cut for SJ but still looks traditional

I have a gpa, and like it not had any problems in the 18months I've used it. I do like the KEP hats though

i adore samshields- just won myself one in a comp online so could be biased though!- i'm not so sure on the keps, they look quite... big on the head

I like the Keps but they're really popular. Samshields are lovely but i could never afford a £1000 hat - i'd probably fall off and damage it!!

Ive got a gatehouse conquest which is really nice and comfy too!

I like the idea of personalising colours on the protector but the gatehouse was a lot cheaper!

I had a KEP-really comfy and cool, but changed it for a LAS-even lighter, even more comfy and even cooler!
