Hi my horse had a keratoma removed last August we was told it was very small and they was happy they had removed all the keratoma. January we x-rayed her and everything was clear . Unfortunately 2 weeks ago she came in lame with a abscess but have now been told the keratoma has returned and the operation will be more extensive and they cannot say it won't return but are hopefully. We are heartbroken and don't know what to do for the best ,has anyone ever had this happen to them and what did you do ,thank you
