The Profeet supplement has worked MIRACLES on my TB, who suffered from awful feet. So much better, now the farrier is really impressed. The new horn growth is so much stonger, we are not losing shoes any more.
I think it works out to be better value than FF as well!

i used to use the kevin bacons hoof moisturiser, kevin bacons is a very good make and most farriers will recomend it

I've used Kevin Bacon Hoof Suppliment and the hoof grease for a number of years and had huge amounts of success with it. However, you do have to be patient, as with all foot issues, to give it time to work. Ideally feed for a couple of months with a good regular balnced diet in conjunction with the hoof grease and you should be pleaseantly surprised with the results. Hope this helps, good luck.

I used to use Kevin Bacon and it was good but I have now found something called hoof heal and it is fab stuff.

I have really noticed a difference in about 6 weeks. For a start my horses shoes have stayed on!

It costs under £10 and I still have some left.

You just apply to clean feet 3 times a week - all natural stuff

includes bees wax and linseed.

Hoof heal is brilliant and i recommend it to all my clients. if your horses feet are cracking you need to topically help them as well as a suppliament ad really anything on the market for feet would be fine. They are all biotin based which is the main ingredient for healthy growth.

Have had my lad on equivite vit and mineral supp for 3 yrs now,and i believe the vits etc have made a massive difference to his feet!!he is full tb and has great feet

I use both K. Bacon hoof suppliment and the hoof dressing every day and have done since I've had Happy. He is a TB but his feet are great. The farrier said on Sat that a lot of horses have cracked feet at the moment but that we must be doing something right because his feet are looking brilliant. He also gets black sunflower seeds in his feed as well as vegetable oil. He has lost 3 shoes since I've had him and those were all from standing on himself. I'd say it def. works but do be patient!!

Kevin Bacon's "foot fat" (as we refer to it!) has been used on our nags for years - great stuff, just don't leave it near the dogs - they love it too!
