Has anyone tried this feed? I have 2 welsh mares that need a bit extra over winter and I like that it has the protexin in it. They are both leisure horses in light work. I’d add it to grass chaff. I like the look of pink mash but she’s on assisted and worry about someone feeding unsoaked

I fed this before, and would again.

My horses all get Keyflow feeds and I've been feeding it since they started a few years ago. Stay Cool was the first feed I tried and we were really happy with it. I have barefoot TBs and they kept weight on, had energy without fizz and i didnt affect their guts or their feet. Only stopped feeding it as they were in a lot of work at the time so we moved onto the Maestro feed as it has more energy. I've occasionally used it since. I fed it with chaff.

My mare (ISH) is on the Staycool as her main feed and Keyplus for topline and muscle development (plus HiFi and hay). I really like it as it is non heating. Been on it for over a year now and my mare looks gorgeous (but then I may be biased) Our YO adds water to the feed bowls, but I contacted Keyflow and they recommended that the feed isn't soaked. Water is now added just before serving.
