Kidney Stones

Hello,
Does anyone have any experiences of kidney stones please? Have looked it up on line and my boys symptoms fit, just would like to hear any tips/ experiences please? Vet is involved.

Had one with rumbling kidney stones for months- they tried everyway possible to break them down but in the end they had to remove a kidney as it was just too bad. Horse is fine now
