Kidneys/Urine

What would you give to a horse to help it's kidneys/urinary system along a bit?

Was thinking salt to help flush it out and maybe nettles/cranberrys?

Any other ideas?

Cranberry juice works for humans? Gave it to my gelding for a while anyway and did him no harm!

Global herbs do a few good mixes to assist with these things. my old mare developed a chronic kidney problem and they helped keep her going way beyond what the vet thought she would.
