kids and horses care!

anyone got any tips for combining toddler and horse care!!!! i have a wonderful 2 year old boy and a 9 year old mare on DIY livery - does anyone else have this and have any good ideas/tips on how to cope with both/be organised/keep them safe and amused?! !!!

not sure, but will they take my 2 yr old girl on livery too?

Lock kid in your car while you ride, that's what one of the mums at our yard does.

Stick a play pen outside the school, to cage the child whilst you ride (another one I've seen).

Ignore child whilst you ride, so it play round the other liveries horses feet or spook their horses with its push along toy.

there was a livery at our yard that used to shut hers in a stable when she rode!
