I dont know if anyone watches it? (I wasn't going to as im too soft) But i found it quite easy to watch suprisingly! It wasnt overly gory or inhumane!

But i get really annoyed about the guy in it who doesnt believe that animals that are suffering should be pts.

I know its a pretty widee subject! But how can you watch a animal die slowly and painfuly?

Say for example a horse broke its leg, it couldn't put weight on it but could just about hobble around. Does ANYONE?! agree that it should be put in a field with food/water and let nature take its course like it would for a wild horse?

Any comments welcome!

What a program I thought it was really good, I think everyone should see where their food comes from. What annoyed me and really got my back up was the Nigerian girl who showed no respect for the animals while they were being slaughtered. I am always with my animals when they get PTS and she really pissed me off. Apart from that it was interesting to see the different cuts of meats and how much of the animal you can actually eat.
 
I didn't like that guy at all, he was condesending, judgemental & seemed to think that the moral high ground was the preserve of him & him alone.
He was a vegan who believed that animals should be left to suffer, very odd & such a contradiction.
I agree with the girl who said "I hope you never have animals"

It seems strange to me. He basically believed we should leave them in a field untill they 'naturally' die? Well, the horses in fields probably have injured themselves doing a non-'natural' thing (i.e, XC or SJ or hunting or something) and there are no natural predators around, so it seems like a very un-natural thing to leave them to linger and suffer. If we accidentally (through work, indescrimant breading etc) cause an injury, we chould be able to make it right. No horse should be left to suffer when we can quickly and efficiently end its pain.
