Can anyone tell me what time it is?

I have heard there is a Kimblewick meet tomorrow morning. It is at a farm near me and I want to hack out early tomorrow but I really don't want to bump into the hunt.

Thanks Becky but I'm not quite brave enough!

I have tried emailing the secretary in the past but have never got a reply. Someone usually contacts our livery yard to say they will be in the area on a particular day but we never know what time they are starting/finishing.

I daren't leave my horse out as he would probably jump out the field or injure himself charging around. Would be nice to know how long I need to keep him in for.

Honestly? The Kimblewick don't care about your horse in his field, nor do they care about you or what they think of them. I've had my horses at home for 6 years now, and they have never contacted me once to let me know when they are riding past my front door, not even when I have asked the secretary and master to let me know. Bizarrely, they didn't even inform me they were hunting on my doorstep when I was a subscriber. I had to rely on the local old bloke letting me know if I saw him in time.

Oh so they haven't changed then - what a surprise (NOT)

When they were a top hunt under Alan Hill they were well run. These days they are seen by most proper hunting people as a joke.

There's a lady (retired) stacks of hunting knowledge who follows hounds, she says when she wants a laugh & to be reminded of how not to run a hunt, she follows the kimblewick.

Shame they are too arrogant to realise how they appear to the outside hunting fraternity & not replying to emails etc is sadly them all over. Poor show :-(
