Kind of going hunting this weekend .. Yipppeeeee

I was asked by my (new) yard the other day if I fancied going with them to a hunt meet with hounds this Saturday to help raise money for the flood victims and I have jumped at the chance.
Not hunting but rather a pre planned hack with lots of others and hounds I am so excited I just cant wait. Hopefully my boy will be on his best behaviour, it will be great to see how he reacts to the hounds and a large group of riders because I am planning to take him hunting next season so this is an opportunity too good to miss

Apparently there is no need to plait but I guess some will so I'm thinking I will just to help make us look nice and smart I know its not the norm but I will be booting up to the eyeballs as he is so accident prone at the moment so tendon boots and over reach boots.

Cant wait, pointless post I'm just so excited and will of course post some pics

Well guys and girls I did it, I was part of a large hack of nearly ninety horses with hounds yesterday and It was awesome. Pony behaved as well as he could, he was very excited and apart from a little blip 'cantering' down a track where he nearly took off it went very well and we had a great time. Cant wait to go cubbing next season now
