Any good? am looking at the 100g turnout, never had anything to do with them, what's the fit like, are they waterproof? how long lasting are they?

Otherwise can anyone recommend a turnout with filling under 100g but more than just a sheet. The fal is a little tight around the shoulder, I like the look of the bucas irish, but there seem to be very few stockists. I don't like the look of swish, though not seen them in the flesh. Otherwise it's premier equine?

I have had 2 Kinghead rugs for nearly 10 years now - both still going strong:) I have then cleaned and reproofed every year and they are a s good as new. Mine are mw and its the heaviest rug my cob wears - even in last years snow:) - so it gets a lot of wear:)

Otherwise Premier Equine are a good choice:)

Love Kingshead rugs, they've been going for years and the quality and fit are usually very good. Used to make superb woollen day rugs when they used to be used on smart days.
or for travelling.

i have found them to be of lesser quality and my horses rip them to shreds - I find WB or Masta to be better quality for my destructive horses xx

on the close up pictures the swish rugs just look cheap and the fit on the 'model' horses look tight, I like bucas but stockists seem to be few and far between, I've emailed JHL to try to get them to make a 50g turnout as I love them, they've replied back saying they really like the idea and will put it forward to product development but it won't be till next year if they do run with the idea! I've heard so many bad things about masta turnouts that i'm not going to give them a go either! So looks like it'll either be bucas or pe, or kingshead and if it doesn't last hope to replace it with a jhl if they make a 50g in future!

I had one that was only a 400 denier - didn't last very long but was given to me so disn't matter to much.. the HW one was 1200d & is still going strong.
