Am I right in thinking this is a progressive disease?

Horse is 6, prone to bucking/rearing and has tendancies to be nappy/spooky.

Has some muscle wastage, sore in middle of spine, very tight muscles.

Backs always been fine before now...

There are plenty of posts about this condition including mine, suggest you trawl through veterinary posts and you should find all the info you want.

Hi , talk to your Vet , chiropractor . My friend had initial diagnosis of kissing spine but after further investigation ( as her insurance covered costs ) a problem with tendons and ligaments along the spine proved to be the problem .
