Kissing spines recovery?

Hi all,

My neddies off to Liphook on the 24th, to have his back problem investigated, but all of the information I've read on kissing spines outlines his behaviour exactly.. I'm praying it's something fixable..

But I haven't found much information on the aftercare if the horse does have an operation..

What are your experiences of the aftercare of the operation and what did your horses return to doing?

Mine was walked out in hand about 3 days after the op. He was exercised on the lunge on a pessoa.Then back into ridden work. He came back into work very well unfortunately to well for me ! so I had to sell him on to someone who could cope with a very lively tb
