She's a Heald Town pony. I know because they are just up the road from me and their gorgeous dark bay stallion makes eyes at my mare over the fence when we ride past. He's a handsome chap! I don't know if he's Kitten's dad though?

Incidentally, they have recently lost a big piece of grazing and may be downsizing, so worth a contact if anyone is looking for brood mares or young stock of that quality.

For a youngster going into winter I wouldn't be fussed for the weight as she will lose it of her own accord like natives should.

She isnt very fat at all her ribs are easily felt. She'll drop it over winter hence moving her into the rough grass. That field is only about as big as a council house lawn. Will be strip grazed with another highland youngster onto foggage hopefully until well after christmas before getting any hay. Other filly is 3 Kitten is 2 so will no doubt go up and in

That's grass belly. I wouldn't say she is "very fat" at all looking at the rest of her.
