The overload will begin, sorry in advance!

They have just been out for two hours and Kitty was not very impressed at all - who can blame her with our mud? But I just told her she'd have worse to deal with at Badminton and Burghley so she'll just have to get used to it!

Not good quality, it was a lousy day and as soon as I got near they beetled off again. Bea was very restrained, I'm very surprised so no funny antics and when I just fetched them in, Kitty was flat out asleep with Bea standing over her dozing; very maternal! She still squeals when they touch noses though, silly mare.

What a clever girl Bea is. Kitty is lovely.

She looks lighter in today's pictures and her hind legs don't look as dark below the hock do they? What are your thoughts today on her colouring?

Thanks C!

I'm probably more confused than ever! Her mane and tail definitely aren't black, that's for sure, you can really notice it in the pic by the puddle. Going to be a guessing game and wait and see I think. Whatever she turns out to be, I'll still adore her - but I would love a liver chestnut; always been my very favourite colour!

But does it matter when Baydale is going to be taking her around Burghley?! Dreams, dreams....................

I don't care what colour she if she wants to go round Burghley.

Man, looking at those photos I am soooo glad I don't live somewhere that gets muddy. Thanks for reminding me of the "joys" of horse-keeping in England.
