Tried twice to reply to your post but it wouldn't let me so have to do it this way! Think you answered your own question. He will probably settle down in time. Matty does the same thing only at home. I tell her to be quiet and then poke her every time she grumbles!!

It doesn't help that the neighbours come in at stupid hours of the day and slam the bottom door and thump up the stairs and slam their door!! grrr
