Are they worth the money?

Reviewing Dizz's bit again. We're still getting the head rubbing, etc., so I'm considering moving away from the Myler.

I'm wondering if Dizz would prefer the metal that the KK is made of.

id say yes, my mare was in a hippus, and was renown for leaning, i swapped her over to the kk with a lonzenger and shes so different, incredibley light in the hand, and her self carriage in proved no end..

ok so i expect having her wolf teeth out may of also helped lol!

I was always under the impression they aren't, but then madam decided only a KK dynamic was acceptable! She loves it, picks it up out of my hand when I tack her up, and doesnt need anymore than a cavesson noseband with it. However, she does still wipe her head on her leg.... but thats to do with slobber!!

I use only them :) - love them and so do the horses:). Try a bit bank to see if she likes one as they are expensive :o- there is one at Grimston (not far from you) and you get about a 10/14 day trial before you decide - also means you can try the different types to get the right one - most KK's are 100 quid + so you want to get it right.:) You also want to make sure you have lessons/hacks etc booked so you can try it in as many different situations as you can to really assess its properly as the first couple of tries of a new bit doesn't really give you a proper idea.

Let me know and I will find their number for you if you like.:)

Is there a site which tells you what the different KK styles do? (like NS do for theirs...)

The Sprenger site goes through all the different types.:)

I have tried an NS as well and my boy 'crunches' it and gets it between his teeth. It also has marked from his teeth whereas the Sprenger hasn't - they are both french link loose ring snaffles.
