Hi all,

I've had the kk ultra dynamic rs recommended to me

which looks like this

as its quite expensive, I just wanted to know if anyone had tried it? An what they had found it useful for?

or really - is there a cheaper version that would work in a similar way

I have started to use the Dynamic on my young ID. I started him in the KK loose ring but we had issues (steering) with the rings so investigated eggbuts instead. My dentist is a bit fan of anatomical mouthpieces and eventually I found the Dynamic and the horse absolutely loves it.

If you can find one to hire I would definitely recommend you try one and if you hunt around on the internet you can certainly find them cheaper than the £125 my saddler quoted me. I dont think there is a 'rip off' cheap version out there Im afraid.

Having used both the Sprengers and the NS versions of different bits I can honestly say this horse prefers the metals in the Sprengers.

thanks spaniel...

I liked the idea of the dynamic as it is a really thin mouthpiece (14mm) and my beast is an IDxTB with a big tongue...

The version I've seen is £72.00 - which is still alot for a bit... might see if i can try it out first...

Is odd cos i used to think my horse was really strong - but he isn't - it's more that he is a bit unresponsive - he doesn't actually haul your arms out - so we moving to kinder bits by the week..

It isn't doing my wallet much good though..
