When competing I have been using a dutch gag but he has started to tuck in a bit and shake his head. I dont think he likes the poll pressure. The dutch gag gave me the right amount of leverage though. I had the control I wanted.
A friend at the yard let me borrow her KK Ultra Pelham today and he went well, jumped a little, came up when I wanted (has a tendancy to fall on the forehand) but wasnt sure whether it is too much. He was a little lethargic today (it was hot!) and we were at home so not the same situation as when out.
What should I look out for if it is too much? And what else to try?
Thanks
