KK ULtra Sprenger - which way up

I know that the little arrow should go either to the left or right ….. but which one! The bit is definitely not one that you can use either way.

I can't find instructions anywhere on the internet.

Help!

Arrow on left, facing forward.

I'm pretty certain the little arrow should be on the left hand side pointing forwards when it is in the horse's mouth.
