Down here in very soggy Herefordshire its hard to even think about Knaptoft running.... so can anyone in the locality confirm that they havnt been affected by all the rain that we have had / currently having?? (We are due to run in the Intermediate on Sunday).
Beth would normally post this message - but she is at Pony Club Camp with both boys this week and is making full use of the indoor school there!!

We back on to Knaptoft Horse Trials and hack over the land. So far so good the land is holding up well, a lot of it is permanent pasure. As long as this weather settles a little it should be alright. Will keep you all posted.
 
Update, so far so good fences being flagged and jump rings being sorted gound on xcountry very good the tricky area is the field where the lorries park and dressage is that was silaged two weeks ago so grass quite short.
 
Brilliant, thanks for keeping us posted. I'm there doing BYEH on Saturday and intermediate Sunday, and I can't bear the thought of it being cancelled and having another boring weekend!
 
Maestro, thanks for keeping us updated - it good to have something to look forward too after all the rain!! By the sound of it we may be towed in or out then?? Will pray for a good drying wind later this week!

Maloo, I'm in Section K too! On Baydale Hector (aka The Malingerer), No 525. Will walk the course on Saturday after the BYEH, so will report back on the going, access etc, oh and how huge and tricky the fences are!

According to a friend today he spoke to Phillip Herbert who had wanted to cancel on MOnday but they're waiting (more due to compensation than anything) but if there is anymore rain it will be unlikely to run. I REALLY need a run and so does my 4yo!!!
 
sw123 - we will all have to keep fingers crossed for no rain... but looking at the forecast I think its a dead cert that there we havnt seen the last of the wet stuff
