knocked over by someones horse

Well a friend of mines horse kicked a woman in the field, knocked her off her feet breaking a few ribs. She is suing her saying her horse is dangerous. Personnally I think it's one of those things and part & parcel of owning horses. But sadly people see £ signs and common sense goes out of the window.

Why have you changed your post ?

Not getting the answer you were hoping for :p??

Sueing is not in the question.......and never come across anyones mind.

Said horse is strong when he decides he is bolting off. Its all of a sudden with no warning. (horses)

What headcollars would you use? Have be nice halter but dont want to end up in a fight with him.
never ever had a horse like this.......

Try looping the leadrope over his nose, it can offer that little bit more control, and if he is still too strong then change to something different, like leading in a bride? Increase the control in stages, like with bitting, if your horse were too strong in a straight bar happy mouth you wouldnt jump straight to a 3 ring gag on the bottom ring. x

My mums boy can be strong as he pulls for the grass as soon as he sees nice juicy grass thats it he off, doesn't bolt or anything just pulls & he so strong. So he now wears a chifney & he is very good
