Koluctoo Bay (USA) racehorse - any info?

Does anyone know anything about this racehorse? I want to find out where he stood so I can find some piccies of him.

Zoom has a Hurlingham Polo Assoc. passport that states that she was foaled in Argentina in January 1997 and registered with the name 'Zulmita'. However, on doing a pedigree search there are only two Zulmitas, one foaled Argentina in 2006 and one foaled 19/01/97 in Puerto Rico

It is an unraced bay mare so January 18th 1997 sounds right. It says she is by Koluctoo Bay and out of a mare called Jolly Jab.

That looks like him as was sire in Puerto Rico before his death - but died in 1997 - I suppose there is a chance he sired a foal in the year before he died...

The breeder A.H. Chandler is/was a top class racehorse breeder and trainer in Kentucky. And he was last owned by 'Lightning Stable', I'm guessing in P.R.

Hi there - this is an old thread but I was doing a Google search for this stud and it brought me here!!

I have a TB mare with a previously unidentified tattoo but after a lot of research, I believe she is by this stud. If I am right about the tattoo she was bred and born in Puerto Rico as well in 1998, out of a mare named Fool's Silver. My mares reg'd name is Koluctoo Silver but we call her Annabelle. Always neat to find people who have your horse's relatives, so I figured I'd let you know that I have her half-sister!!!
