What do you stuff your Kongs with? I just put normal treats in but Jess seems to be filling out a bit too much! Either that or she's finally matured and is losing the lean youngster look!

I put his normal food in (dry food) so he doesn't get any extra. I have in past put some peanut butter in which is high calorie but keeps them going for ages trying to lick it out - makes a hell of a mess though and requires quite a bit of cleaning!

he gets normal kibble in from daily allowance and either probio yogurt or low fat natural yogurt or he gets spready cheese- only in middle and on top of biscuits- then frozen keeps him busy then!

I've added hot water to my dog's normal food, let it swell up, mash it so the Kong is half full and shoved it in the freezer. Doesn't keep him busy for too long!

I also snap Bonio biscuits in half and wedge the thicker end inside so he spends ages getting it out.

Also smeared tiny bit of peanut butter in it. Tried marmite but my dog doesn't like it!

Low salt stock frozen is a good low calorie one, especially as the weather gets nicer. I just put his raw mince in his frozen so he isnt getting a whole heap extra.

Thanks everyone! J have low fat Greek yoghurt in the house so going to mix some with her breakfast kibble and freeze it, do you that's an ok combination?

Fab, Gina, as mentioned, freeze for extra time/difficulty.

I get the cheap meat paste in little jars sometimes, but more likely their normal food frozen. Marmite is good, as is pâté, carrots and their kibble if they eat that. Low fat cottage cheese is also good for plugging the end.

Fish4dogs do mousses which are fab, plus their fish skins treats which are quite big and hard to get out.

When I give my three dogs their kong i usually fill it with either cheese or marmite. My dogs love their kong and can clear it in minutes!!!! George, my cockerpoo is so funny, she will sit and just chew the kong whilst maddison (also a cockerpoo) will happily hoover up the cheese.:D

I put a smear of marmite on our pups sometimes but it has an awful lot of salt in, which put me off using it.

I use pate too- the most favoured filling with my two :D

our puppy will happily eat ice cubes but none of our others will take them from one. Frozen low fat puppy milk works too(I know it sounds weird)!

tripe....they love it - frozen or just in

wouldnt mind but they are on arden grange which isnt exactly cheap but they would prefer tripe anyday lol

if out of tripe...then cheese/pate/ham or normal food :)

Thanks everyone! Today was her first day with a properly frozen one which contained half of her breakfast biscuits and some low fat yoghurt. Just on my way home now to see how she got on with it!
