I've had Izzy for over a year and I still need to change the ownership on the passport/pink papers into my name!

I need to send it with photos and proof of ownership (receipt) to the Netherlands. Has anyone else on here had to do this before? How long does it take to get the passport back? Bit worried sending it abroad...

I was thinking the same with mine when i got W, but i was told just to hand write my name and address in the ownership secton, as you may never see it again if you send it off to the netherlands!

I see the postal problem and loss of the passport but it is against the law to make entreries in the passport unless you sre an approved person in the regulation.

I sent mine off to Holland and they were very efficient and it was back in a couple of weeks. I made sure I sent everything I needed with it and they even take payment by credit card, very useful as I was wondering about how to arrange a euro cheque! If you want the email address of the helpful lady at the Dutch KWPN that I corresponded with, or have any other questions then feel free to PM me.

If you want to send it off to Holland then take a photcopy of it first. I have just written my name and address in the back of mine.

I did it a few years ago. They sent me their outline diagram that they wanted the vet the complete and stamp and then I sent it all off with a 20(I think) euro note inside the envelope and everything came back within a few weeks. Email them they're pretty good at replying in English (thank goodness) and they'll tell you what they need. I think I just wanted the passport but had to register the change of owner first.
