KWPN Passports - No name??

My horse has a KWPN passport. In the box for his name is just "U".
I know that this refers to him being born in 2001.
My question is that do I have contact the KWPN to give him a proper name beginning with U? or can i just leave it like this?
Any info would be appreciated

??? Not sure your best bet is to call them and ask??
I would imagine you can name your horse but it will need to go and be stamped by KWPN so call them!

You need to get your name put on your horses passport aswell as giving him a registered name. Yes, U is the year he was born (2001). You can give him 'posh' name starting with U, or you can give him any name you want and they will just put U.''name'' on the passport (which is what i did for my KWPN also born in 2001)

You need to take pictures of your horse: front, back, each side, front legs, hindlegs - i think there is a link on the KWPN website as you have to fill in some forms aswell, and there is a fee to pay.
