Hi,I've just got back from vets with my 12 month old staffie and he's been diagnosed with L-2-HGA.
It is a rare metabolic disorder which one or both his parents would of had(who I never saw).
I took him to vets as I noticed he had wobbly legs which got worse after a walk.last week he was prescribed anti inflamatorys which he had for q week so to rule out it wasn't pain related,so that's how we got the diagnoses of the above.

Does anyone have experience with this? I've been told it could get worse to the point of him not being able to walk and would not be a v good qol. So I would probs pts if it got that bad :(

Thanks for replying and info, I will have a look.I havnt had time to sit and do any research yet.
The dna test was going to be £100 which I didn't have done as vet had already said his symptoms ticks all the boxes.
I don't know who bred him as I took him on at 4 months old after he'd already had 3 homes before me.he was such a handful when I got him but so much better now.
