Dear HHrs - please can you share this with all your friends as it would be great to reunite this dog with its owners.

Labrador found 13 july in San Concordio di Moriano near Lucca Tuscany. It has an English microchip so current thinking is that it was lost during a holiday to Italy, or of course it could live there.

Microchip is proving untraceable and noone has reported it missing. I don't know if it's a dog or a bitch as I've cross-posted this from Champdogs.

If you know anyone who's lost their lab please get them to message me. Thanks K

The only other info I have now that I've re-read all the Champdogs posts is that it is yellow. (The original poster who is a moderator on the Champdogs site says 'yellow dog' so I assume it's male, but I don't actually know for sure).

I've also just seen a new post that says that it could in fact be a Swiss chip which would explain why it's not traceable to any of the UK databases.

We rehomed a lab and they holiday to France and Italy frequently with her as we helped sort her passports but she is a black female, otherwise you had me reaching for the phone there:eek:
I hope he gets reunited with somebody, can they trace the chip to where it was purchased. Before we used non transferable chips for rescue the pound found us by where the chip was purchased (by us).
