I always associate labradors with horse people - so would be interested to hear how many of you have labradors

We've always had the labs in the family as working dogs. Currently have 6 year old (7 this year) called Tina. She's a black lab, has had 2 litters (all went on to become working dogs) and she is a fully trained gundog. It is a joy to watch her work.

The lab in my sig is Windsor. He was a 12 year old retired gundog who unfortunately was PTS on 22/1/07. He had fantastic breeding and it was him who sired Tina's pups.

Also Ihave a spolit brat mini schnauzer.

When Tina first went swimming she swam with her paws round her ears trying to stop water get in. She is now one of the best water retrieval dogs my uncle has known (he is v.proud of her)

Ha! Weasel's the last of the litter we have left, she's a sweetheart! She's got to go somewhere very special where she'll be spoilt rotten and with lots of company else she won't be going anywhere if I have my way!!

We have a black lab, a foxhound and a yorkie. They are all just pets but the lab thinks its his job to patrol the farm estate daily, and he loves running along behind the landrover when my dad's working in the fields.
