Lack of Farriers

Has anyone ever had the problem of not being able to get a farrier - Iv tried a few from the farriers registration website and they are all to busy!
What would you guys do in this situation!

I had same problem when I wanted to change farriers as I wasn't happy with one I had. I phoned about half a dozen and they didn't even get back to me. Then about two weeks later two came back on same day! Happy with one I've got now but you will just have to keep trying. Good luck!

We had that problem locally for years. New farriers have now come to the area and one is struggling for work. Mine is a diamond, i did have to wait for him to go on his list and he is not takeing anymore customers - i keep filling his books

Switched to a barefoot trimmer!! She's reliable, full of useful advice, patient with the horses, sends me a text message with her ETA.

Our Y/O just changed new farriers, he leaves virtually no hoof wall, so walking on gravel is a little sore for bobsicke, but apart from that hes great! try asking other local yards?
