Lackham College's equestrian facilities to be shut down....

I am truly gutted. Lackham is a top-class facility; their outdoor school is second to none in the area, and is used by so many riding clubs and pony clubs. My OH did an agricultural course there in the 1990s - he said it was always a case then that the agri department was under threat from the equine section. Looks like that has turned right around now - that lovely school is going to be made into a new milking parlour

Has been done before, but I agree, what a waste of good factilities and a waste of money. Those gallops have hardly been used and they are going to rip them out again.
