I always knew the video (posted by........??? Can't remember and can't bothered looking) allegedly showing members of LACS staff maiming and killing stags was a load of old bum juice but couldn't find an explanation for it. Now one has, quite literally, knocked at my door. Extracts from a letter from the League.......

.....Sine the start of this year we have had an increasing number of reports from around the U.K of strange and cruel acts and we are now only beginning to understand the sinister nature of this latest trend.

There are many instances I could report to you, some too distressing to relate.......Some weeks ago we started recieving reports of dead or dying stags on the perimeter of League sanctuaries. In one case when one of our staff arrived on the scene, he was also joined by hunters with video equipment who filmed his attempts to alleviate the suffering of this creature. In all cases the suffering of the animals was horrific to witness and, as all were close to death from their injuries, there was no option but to put them to sleep.

And thus we have a truthful explanation for the bogus videos in circulation. Pro hunt idiots are maiming deer, calling LACs themselves and waiting for staff to arrive in order to make these videos. I for one am deeply saddened that these self titled animal lovers are so bent on revenge they would stoop to such a low level. It's a bloody disgrace.

Didn't someone actually admit either to taking part or knowing one or two of the people who filmed the vid posted on this forum? Was it you Fag Twat? Maybe, maybe not - I'll have a look back later on to find out.

Give me hard evidence...getting rather tired of presumptions...on both sides!

What you've just written sounds like it was plucked out of the sky.

Ok, so pissed off pro's setting up League staff is somehow unbelievable but staff members from the League catching stags on the sly, taking them in to the deep dark woods and carrying out unmentionable torture just for kicks when they think no-one is around is plausable? Oh, but somehow some pros saw them and followed them and lurked in the undergrowth filming the whole dastardly deed (which begs the question why they didnt stop the cruelty - being animal lovers-but instead watched the whole thing without interferring).

Give me e break!!!

Someone deliberatly maimed those animals. It was either LACS staff or hunt members/support. I know which one I'd put my money on.

The fact that PETA of all people kill of dogs and cats - I'm talking thousands a year - then yes it is possible.

Did you deny the LACS member of staff shooting a deer out of a landy?

ETS: Peta members will film an animal being skinned alive just for video footage...they're supposed animal lovers. If I was present I'd kill the animal quickly followed by the a55hole that was performing the above.

Oh dear !!

I have had a lovely sunny morning moving some sheep and then what happens ? I get called a twat !!!!!

It IS my real name you know !!

I am sure you know who I was named after.

Now, where were we? Oh yes, no I was not there at the filming but yes, I know Steve Coates very well.

Do you automatically presume he is a liar just because he hunts?

Just like policemen current and ex who hunt ? Clergy who hunt ? All liars ?

Anyway, what do you want to know ? You will only get the truth from this direction as you know.

Are you saying the letter from the league was the truth ? Just like the CA tell the truth ?

Ok, for a moment lets delude ourselves (won't be hard for you two!!) that these are animal loving people filming a vile act of cruelty who did not intervene as they were thinking of the greater good that having evidence would do.

Why was this piece of footage not submitted to the authorities? If the CP rejected it, they could have mounted a private prosecution, I'm sure the C.A or whoever would have wet their pants with excitement at the prospect of prosecuting LACS for animal cruelty so funding a prosecution wouldn't be hard.

Also how did they know that LACS staff would be torturing deer at that particular spot?

We all know the truth, this might as well be a conversation about the existance of fairies, haha

"Why was this piece of footage not submitted to the authorities?"

Obviously i can't say. Who are the authorities?

"I'm sure the C.A or whoever would have wet their pants with excitement at the prospect of prosecuting LACS for animal cruelty so funding a prosecution wouldn't be hard. "

I shouldn't think so !! When they have been abusing wildlife previously there has been a big cover up.

Anyone seen any minutes of the meetings between DEFRA, Baronsdown and the BDS ?

No I thought not.

"Also how did they know that LACS staff would be torturing deer at that particular spot?"

Are you saying that Geoff Hayes is a LACS employee ?

"We all know the truth,"

Well I don't and I live 5 miles away. But I knew you would !!!

Good point. Does anyone know why the meeting had to take place under Chatham House rules? Obviously someone there had something to hide.

It wasn't "put to sleep" though.

It got stabbed in the neck with a knife and then had it's head wrenched back to front.

LOL
