LAMB BONE

Is it safe to feed a Large leg of lamb bone ? I have been told that Lamb bone splinters just like chicken bones and it could cause the dog to choke.

Is this true?

Girla, providing it is uncooked, it will be fine. Chicken bones are only dangerous when cooked. You will find a difference of opinion when it comes to other cooked bones - many people do feed cooked lamb/beef bones - I prefer not to but my Lab has raw bones of all kinds all the time - our dogs always have!

Although just remembers - rib bones from lambs might be dodgy, that is sticking in my head for some reason.
