Hi Everyone
I have a couple of questions regarding healing time for cuts.
My horse came in from the paddock with a small cut on her the inside of the leg about an inch above the fetlock joint I cleaned and bandaged it overnight for several nights, on the 3rd night I left the bandage off to see if this still needs to be done, leg filled overnight but not drastically but enough of a difference, when out all day it goes down we are on the 4th day now and there is no pus or anything and it is forming a scab however she is not coming sound she is on bute already for her arthritis issues and has graduated heartbar shoes on the front for her fetlock & navicular & coffin joint arthritis and I am wondering if it is the arthritis issues or the cut which seems to be healing???
obviously vet will come out next week if she is still presenting lame.
