Bailey is two and the night before last he appeared to be a little footy on one of his front legs. Nothing major, couldnt see any swelling or marks at all. Yesterday morning appeared much better. By lunchtime he was lame on his back leg, just a little stiff by last night he was reluctant to weight bear and spent all afternoon in bed. Hes not much better this morning. Have had alittle feel of the leg and it appears to be in the lower half of his leg but theres no swelling or marks once again. Hes eating normally.
I wondered if because he was a little sore on his front leg he had lost his footing and hurt his back one?

I'm having this problem with my black cat, keeps going lame on his front leg and when he sits won't lean on it at all, been to the vets and he felt it and he gives no reaction when it's pulled around,so after 2nd visit it's now going for scans,em,very expensive in cats, luckily I'm insured.....vet thinks most of these types of injuries come from falls from fences and so on,sometimes just keeping them confined for a week can help rest them,in my case my cat has done more to himself than just that! I would keep him in and see how he goes....

Just a quick update - kept him in as much as we could. Was very sorry for himself for 24 hours then started to improve. Yesterday he was tearing round the house like a demon. I think he may be a bit of a wuss!
